I talked in this post about when we should be thankful, and now I’d like to share with you eight bible verses about being thankful. I’d encourage you to pick one to commit to memory.

8 Bible Verses About Being Thankful

1. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. — Colossians 3:15

2. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

3. Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. — Colossians 4:2

4. Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! — Psalm 107:1

5. And whatever you do, in word in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. — Colossians 3:17

6. You are my God, and I give thanks to You; You are my God, I extol You. Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. — Psalm 118:28-29

7. I will give thanks to the LORD according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. — Psalm 7:17

8. O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. — 1 Chronicles 16:34
