Most of us want to get married one day. It’s a natural desire given to us by God. When He created Adam, God said it wasn’t good that Adam was alone, so He created Eve to be Adam’s helper. (Genesis 2:18-25)
But our desire to date or get married can become very selfish. We want a boyfriend or girlfriend because we want the attention or want someone to listen to us. It’s fun and makes us feel good.
But what if we had a completely different mind frame? What if instead of seeing what we can get out of the relationship, we see how we can best serve the other person?
