Last week, we looked at “blessed are the meek.” After realizing our inability to do anything to save ourselves and mourning over our sin, one would have meekness, which is power surrendered to God’s control (You can read Part 3 here).
This week we are looking at Matthew 5:6.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” – Matthew 5:6
What does it mean to hunger and thirst for righteousness?
Food and water are necessities to life. Someone who hungers and thirsts for righteousness needs it. It is essential to our lives as Christians.
